Marina Heights is located in downtown Tempe 
area and right next to Tempe Town Lake. The intent of 
placing Marina Heights here was really to leverage all 
the surrounding amenities in the area so that our 
employees have easy access to transit options, to food 
options, to the entertainment and can just really feel 
part of the community around here.

People are enjoying it. I see them getting away from 
their desk. And I see many people are already taking 
walks at break and saying, this is the best work 
environment I've ever been a part of. So I think that's 
also going to help us recruit some new folks to come 
be a part of our State Farm family.

Construction is right on schedule. We've got most of 
the building complete. And by the end of 2017, we'll 
have everyone who's currently here in the valley 
moved in to Marina Heights.

What's really neat is I think in the valley, we've 
missed kind of being together as a company, 
whereas here, we can all be together. And you have

I think it's going to help us stay current with what 
our workforce is demanding of us as an employer. 
And ultimately, if we have a happier, more engaged 
workforce, then we're probably going to have 
associates that have stronger customer service 
and a stronger commitment to this organization 
and what we're trying to achieve.
