State Farm Skill for Amazon Alexa Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the State Farm skill for Amazon Alexa ("Skill"), and constitute a binding agreement between you and State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, its affiliates, and subsidiaries ("State Farm"). You should carefully read these Terms before enabling and using the Skill. Your use of the Skill is conditioned on your acceptance of these Terms; you may not access, enable, or otherwise use the Skill if you do not agree to these Terms. You acknowledge and agree that by accepting these Terms and enabling or using the Skill, you are attesting that you have capacity to read, understand, and agree to these Terms. By using the Skill, you are consenting to the use, processing, storage, disclosure, and transfer of information as described below under "Your Privacy." You may revoke your consent at any time by disabling the Skill.
State Farm reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify these Terms at any time and without advance notice. Your continued use of the Skill following any modification to these Terms is considered acceptance of the revised Terms. These Terms are not intended to replace any other agreement or terms and conditions that may apply in connection with any insurance policy, or any other agreement you may have with State Farm. The terms provided at https://www.statefarm.com/customer-care/disclosures/terms-of-use ("Additional Terms") also apply to your use of the Skill. By accepting and agreeing to these Additional Terms, you acknowledge and agree that you have reviewed, understood, and agreed to the Additional Terms.
Your Privacy
You understand that that the interactions with the Skill are voice-driven through Alexa-enabled devices such as the Amazon Echo Dot, Amazon Fire, and any device that has an Alexa application installed or is otherwise connected to Alexa. By enabling and using the Skill, you are authorizing State Farm to perform any and all actions requested through the Skill. This may include State Farm sharing information with your Alexa enabled device and Amazon. Any and all interactions you have with the Skill are facilitated through Amazon. These interactions may be recorded and used by Amazon.
You should review your agreement with Amazon to learn more details about Amazon's treatment of those interactions. By accepting and agreeing to these Terms, you acknowledge and agree that you have reviewed, understood, and agreed to the Amazon Device Terms of Use ("Amazon Device Terms"), and all other terms incorporated therein, that can be found at: https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=202002080.
By interacting with the Skill, you are consenting to, and authorizing State Farm to use, process, store, disclose and transfer any and all information necessary to perform the action requested. The type of information will depend on your request. Some Skills may require "account linking." Account linking permits State Farm to connect your Amazon identity with your statefarm.com account in order to perform the action requested. The account linking process will occur when you first enable the Skill. You can unlink your account at any time by disabling the Skill. If you choose to re-enable the Skill, you will need to re-link your account.
Information collected by the Skill is subject to the State Farm Notice of Privacy Policy. To see what specific information is collected by the Skill, please see below under "Use of the Skill." For information related to you privacy rights, please reference the privacy notices provided to you by State Farm. Use of the Skill
You understand your use of the Skill is voluntary. By enabling and using the Skill, you agree to use the Skill in accordance with these Terms. You further agree that you are solely responsible for any and all interactions and communications with the Skill. You understand you can disable the Skill at any time. Please ensure that others do not interact with State Farm through the Skill on your behalf, and consider whether others are close enough to hear your interactions with the Skill.
The following features may be available to you under the Skill. For specific information about the features available, please refer to the section below.
Drive Safe & SaveTM. If you are enrolled in the State Farm Drive Safe & Save program, you can use the Skill to retrieve vehicle discount information. You understand that by using the Skill, you are authorizing and consenting to State Farm accessing and providing current Drive Safe & Save information to you through the Alexa device that is linked to your Auto policy account information. The Drive Safe & Save information includes the vehicle make, model, year, last 4 digits of the vehicle identification number, and the discount amount for that specific vehicle.
Auto Account Information. You can use the Skill to locate your State Farm independent contractor agent and request a copy of your Auto insurance card. You understand that by using the Skill, you are authorizing and consenting to State Farm accessing information necessary to provide you with information about your State Farm independent contractor agent. You also understand that by using the Skill to request a copy of your Auto insurance card, you are authorizing State Farm to access your information and send a copy of the Auto insurance card to the mailing address State Farm has on record for the Auto insurance.
Agent Information. You can use the Skill to locate a State Farm independent contractor agent by providing your zip code.
