And we put on events to build 48 websites for 48 nonprofits in 48 hours. (Speaker: Unidentified female) When you walk into the space, period, you feel the energy. You see the level of technology and innovation. (Text on screen) Energy (Speaker: Second unidentified female) And we have a bunch of different organizations that are here. So it's very family. (Text on screen) Innovation (Speaker: Unidentified male) Setting the purpose is the most important thing in how you're giving back to the community. It's just really exciting to be here. Then we see others in the room working on websites. (Speaker: Adam Walker) We thought how powerful would it be if somebody could use their professional skills to really impact a nonprofit. Get everybody together and put together professional websites to see if we can really make an impact and help nonprofits look good for what they're trying to do. And help them grow. (IMAGE) We see Emily Schneider speaking. Text on screen identifies her as State Farm® Enterprise Technology. Next, we see others in the room working on websites. (Speaker: Emily Schneider) And a lot of times you see nonprofits are putting so much work into their actual helping people that their web presence really kind of either isn't there or kind of suffers. And so we're able to come in and use our professional skills to create these awesome new websites. And on top of that, we also teach them how to utilize it and how to grow online. (IMAGE) We see Mike Fuller speaking. Text on screen identifies him as Director, State Farm® Enterprise Technology. Next, we see volunteers working on their computers. (Speaker: Mike Fuller) We have over 50 people that volunteered to spend their weekend down here. The energy is fantastic. The environment that we're in, you can tell that they're really engaged and happy with their contribution. I'm anxious to see the reactions of some of these nonprofits when they do see what's being delivered. I know they're going to be really excited. (IMAGE) We see Maxine Cain speaking. Text on screen identifies her as President/Founder STEM Atlanta Women. She interacts with the volunteers. (Speaker: Maxine Cain) They nailed it. I was just so blown away with the work that they're doing. And I was searching for an organization that can really put together a very clean website. And it was very hard to find that. Because usually those types of sites are super expensive. And I'm, like, I'm a nonprofit. I can't really pay my own money to do that, right? And so, I heard about the 48 in 48, told them what I'm looking for. And I'm just outdone. I mean, it's truly a blessing. (IMAGE) We see Lonnie Smith speaking. Text on screen identifies him as Philanthropy Manager, State Farm® (Speaker: Lonnie Smith) To provide that type of value so they can increase their level of services, increase their volunteer experience, it's just really an incredible asset that State Farmer's are providing to local nonprofits here in Atlanta. [SIRENS] (IMAGE) Cesar Acosta is seen speaking. Text on screen identifies him as Developer, IT, State Farm ® Enterprise Technology (Speaker: Cesar Acosta) Nonprofits definitely, like, you know, they help the community. And the fact that we can come in and help them out, you know, definitely speaks a lot and the impact it can have. So it's a good thing. This is all a good thing. Yeah. (Speaker: Adam Walker) We're seeing that the nonprofits’ websites are really helping them to move the needle forward with what we're trying to do. It is increasing donations. It is increasing engagement on the website. It is increasing volunteerism. And it's really helping them to move forward in their mission. (IMAGE) Scenes from some of the webpages are seen, and then we see Adam Walker again, and then Lonnie Smith. (Speaker: Lonnie Smith) That's the greatest takeaway is that you can do anything to impact positively communities, your neighborhood. It can take five minutes. It can take 48 hours. But the great thing is each one of us has a skill set, expertise, talents that we can lend ourselves.
