the man a paper. Suddenly, as she hands 
him the paper, the backyard scene changes. 
Everyone is dressed much less nicely. 
The lawn is brown. The dog is being 
videotaped by the girl as it moves in a 
small kid car. The topiary becomes a 
straggly tree, which the woman is trimming 
around. The diver becomes an awkward boy, 
who holds up his retainer while clinging 
to the side of the pool. The newspaper 
delivery person becomes a State Farm agent,
and the newspaper becomes a policy.
