Backstory - Truck (:60) | State Farm® Commercial [MUSIC PLAYING] (IMAGE) A man is seen walking down a city street. He purchases a drink from a food stand. (Speaker: Man) All right. Thanks, man. (IMAGE) Next, we see him waiting for a bus and then working in a factory. We see him and several others standing in the snow, waiting for a bus. He enters and rides. Next, we see him sitting with a cup in a bus shelter. It’s warm and sunny. In the following scene, it’s a rainy night and he runs after the bus but misses it. He sits in the bus shelter looking dejected. Next, we see him on a bus, watching another man eat, and then looking around at the others on the crowded bus. We see him in two different scenes waiting for a bus, then he is seen paying his fare in two scenes. After that, he clocks in at work. Several scenes of him using the bus follow. We see him walking into work with others at a shift change, talking to co-workers. In the next scene, we see him looking at a truck for sale at a dealership. Next, we see him driving that truck past the bus stop. [SINGING] You can say what you like. I won't pay you no mind. 'Cause I've heard it before, a thousand times. You can break my bones but you'll never break me. 'Cause what you get here, is just what you see. And I know what it's like to have nothing at all. You can break my bones but you'll never break me. (Announcer: Female voice) While other insurance companies just see a truck, we see something you've worked really hard for. So why not give it the protection it deserves? [SINGING] Is just what you see.
